Explore Louisville

Most Louisville hotels sit downtown along Main Street and the Ohio River, within walking distance of Whiskey Row, the KFC Yum! Center, and the convention center. Whether you're here for the Kentucky Derby, a Louisville Cardinals game, or a bourbon tour, you'll be about 15 minutes from Louisville Muhammad Ali International (SDF).

Whiskey Row is lined with downtown distilleries and tasting rooms and is the starting point for the Urban Bourbon Trail. A few blocks away, the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, marked by a six-story bat, and the Muhammad Ali Center honor two local legends.

The Kentucky Derby runs on the first Saturday in May at Churchill Downs, preceded by two weeks of Kentucky Derby Festival events, including the Thunder Over Louisville fireworks. For a slower pace, walk the Big Four Bridge across the Ohio River into Indiana.
