Top-notch couture B&B--a destination not just a place to stay!
Everything about Stonehurst Place B&B is top-notch couture lodging status. I travel a great deal for work both nationally and internationally. I've stayed at every variation of hotels, boutiques, inns, bed & breakfasts, AirB&Bs, condo rentals, etc. So trust me when I say that Stonehurst Place is in the top tier of most caring and well managed lodgings on the globe. Judy (the owner) and her staff go to exceptional measures to ensure guests are as comfortable as possible. The estate is gorgeous and a true sanctuary in the heart of Atlanta. I didn't even feel like I was in a city. More like an English country garden nook. The rooms are fit for royalty. I slept the best I have in months and will be dreaming of the bed for a long time. We were there two nights. The second night (mid week in off season) we were the only guests in the B&B, which made it feel even more privileged and private. From the piano room and the upstairs tea and reading terrace to the outdoor porch, everywhere is a jewel box of discovery. The food was incredibles, too. I have Celiac Disease (gluten allergy) and the kitchen staff took expert care in preparing my meals to my needs. I was on work travel for 3 weeks and this was by far my favorite lodging. My husband and I hope to return soon. Thank you, Judy--you are incredible!
I really can't think of anything... maybe we could've used another trashcan in the room. There was only one in the bathroom and a recycling container in the main bedroom. So maybe one more. A quibbling note compared to how wonderful everything was!
