Explore Houston

Houston hotels spread across several hubs. Downtown puts you near the George R. Brown Convention Center, the Toyota Center, and the Astros' ballpark, while the Galleria area offers upscale shopping and the Museum District sits near the Texas Medical Center and NRG Park. The city has two airports: George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU).

The Museum District holds 19 museums within walking distance of each other, including the Museum of Fine Arts and the Houston Museum of Natural Science, next to leafy Hermann Park and the Houston Zoo. Discovery Green offers concerts and events downtown.

NRG Park hosts Texans football and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, a three-week event each February and March. Space Center Houston, the visitor center for NASA's Johnson Space Center, is about 30 minutes southeast of downtown.
